Greetings,

ARISE, Inc., is embarking upon a new horizon. Due to the evolution of change in our organization, I am proud to take the helm as the President of ARISE, Inc., effective immediately. There are two constants that are evident for this 33-year-old historical vocal music entity.  We will continue to provide quality community service through our musical talents and dedication. 

Secondly, we will continue to evolve and brainstorm new ways to express the spirit and messaging of the “Negro Spiritual”, the power of Resilience, Hope, and Faith in life experiences. We will remain committed to the spirit and scholarly contribution that the “Negro Spiritual” has made to the historical fabric of America.  ARISE will continually educate our listeners about the historicity of these songs and their powerful messaging of intrigue, inspiration, and optimism in the midst of despair.  Most importantly, we are dedicated to having fun while continually expanding our audience no matter who, when, or where they may reside.
